The towns or areas include Anchorage, Chitina, Cordova, Donnelly, Fairbanks, Fish Egg (Craig), Ft. Gibbon, Ft. Liscum, Gulkana, Holy Cross, Juneau, Prince Rupert, Portage Bay, Rapids, Ruby, St. Michael, Seward, Skagway, Tonsina, Tulako (Washington), Wortmanns, Unalaska, Valdez, and Thompson's Pass. The ships include the S.S. Alaska, S.S. Edith, the Henry H. Field (cable ship), the S.S. Mariposa, S.S. Olympia, the S.S. Northwestern, and the revenue cutter Ungala.
